Terms of Service

By accessing or using Sitelist ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Sitelist is a mobile application that allows users to create, edit, and publish web pages. Published pages are accessible at sitelist.app/[your-chosen-url].

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Sign in using Apple Sign-In
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Your account is tied to your Apple ID. We receive your email address (or Apple's private relay email) and optionally your name from Apple.

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through the Service ("User Content"). By publishing content, you grant Sitelist a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

4.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to your content
• Your content does not infringe on any third party's rights
• Your content complies with these Terms and applicable laws

4.3 Prohibited Content

You may not publish content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Is spam, phishing, or fraudulent
• Violates any person's privacy
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic
• Promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred
• Impersonates another person or entity

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Circumvent any access or usage restrictions
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service without permission

The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Sitelist and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

When you publish a page, you choose a custom URL (sitelist.app/your-slug). URLs are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to:

• Reject or remove URLs that violate these Terms
• Reclaim unused URLs after extended periods of inactivity
• Reassign URLs that infringe on trademarks or rights of others

8.1 Free Tier

The Service offers a free tier that includes core functionality: creating pages, publishing to sitelist.app URLs, and basic themes.

8.2 Paid Subscriptions

We offer optional paid subscriptions ("Pro") with additional features such as analytics, premium themes, and branding removal. Paid features are described at the time of purchase.

8.3 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through the Apple App Store. You authorize the App Store to charge your selected payment method. All payments are processed by Apple; we do not store your payment information.

8.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

8.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes take effect at your next billing cycle. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any features) at any time with reasonable notice.

10.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time by logging out. To request deletion of your data, contact us at hello@sitelist.app.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with or without notice.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Published pages will be unpublished. If you have an active paid subscription, you may cancel it through the App Store.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SITELIST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sitelist and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party's rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
